Our client is one of Northern Ireland’s most highly respected legal practices. MLR Careers is supporting them in the appointment of a Legal Secretary / Legal Administrator.
Your new role will be to support the Partner and Head of Litigation, and the Associates. This is a superb opportunity to develop your experience further with a firm recognised as a leader in their field. The role is available due to continued growth.

This position is office-based, however there is flexibility if required.
We are conducting immediate interviews.
The role
This is a key role within the business support team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Planning & organisation with a focus on prioritising workloads and diary management
- Managing the lawyers’ communications including ‘phone calls, emails, letters and presentations
- Document and File management including document production, typing, opening, maintaining and archiving Files
- Relationship management including event organisation, client research and collating information pertinent to bids and tenders
- Billing, including use of pricing and project management tools, assist in dealing with queries and ensuring all supporting paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
- Managing the case management system
- Digital dictation using big hand.
The individual
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate:
- A ‘can -do’ attitude and enjoy working in a first-class commercial setting, or would like the opportunity to do so.
- Previous experience in any aspect of litigation is essential.
- Good IT skills – proficient using MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to support the team.
