Our client is an international law firm with a reputation as a world-leading data protection practice. MLR Careers is supporting them in the appointment of a talented Data Protection Lawyer.


This role will provide you the platform to develop into a recognised industry leader, with commensurate rewards.


The Role


Working alongside teams in 32 cities across the globe, you will work on multi-jurisdiction projects, advising high-growth businesses on a wide variety of data protection matters including:



  • GDPR implementation and compliance

  • Data breach reporting and management

  • Operationalisation of data subject rights

  • Data transfer challenges

  • Data protection litigation

  • Children’s data protection issues


You will, in time,  be expected to raise your international profile through attending and speaking at global key industry events.


The Person


You will have an excellent understanding of the data protection legal regime in Ireland the EU, and will have considerable experience of data protection regulatory or compliance work.


Ideally you will be Irish-qualified though consideration will be given if you are from another common-law country with a clear and fast path to re-qualification as an Irish qualified solicitor.
